1. The Members of our group are Jalynda Arroyo, Gianni Ferraiolo, and Colin Redwood.
2. Jalynda will do product design. Colin will do Backend development. Gianni will do website design.
3. A theme template was chosen for the website, some text was changed from the template, and two test products were added.
4. We need to further edit the text for the website and get rid of all the filler latin text. The filler images need to be replaced with my own art. The two tester products need to be removed and replaced with 7 real products. We need to create and link the shop page to our website so customers can make purchases. Website must be able to process payments with test Stripe credentials. Website must send an order confirmation notification.
5. We could meet in person 40 minutes before class starts on Mondays.
In class I am going to make a website that sells prints, t-shirts and hoodies, notebooks and other stationary, and stickers with my art on it. Depending on the item, there will be different options for colors and sizes. My target audience might range from preteens to adults. I will be using my own art for the products so it won't be AI generated. My store might be named Jalynda's Art. That sounds boring though. My goal is simply to sell merch with my art on it.
In class we customized our website even further by changing the menus in the website. I made section IDs for each section for the menu. I changed the color of the header and got rid of the footer on the site. There is music on canva which I added to my game trailer. I added my trailer to the website for my game in progress. In class today, I generated some images with Pixio and used Runway to animate them. We used Civit to find prompts that I liked. I am going to use the 4 second animations I made to create a trailer for my sci fi game. I am putting the animations together in Canva. We also learned about ai generated voices for our trailer.
WordPress is a a website builder and we used themes from Divi to customize the website.
The template I used had cool scifi brains and eyes with purple and green colors.
The target audience for my game and website is teens and adults.
The sections of my website are the header, features, users, potential, and reviews.
For the homework, I will edit more text and move images around.
In class today, we attempted to build our vr experience but had technical issues. We set up build settings and a keystore for it. We started preparing the app for publishing. We wrote descriptions and used pixio to create art to upload to the meta developer website.
Today and last week in class, we started creating a VR experience. I got more familiar with unity. I imported Oculus integration into unity and I imported a meta avatar demo scene. I also downloaded another scene I liked and imported that into unity. I used Gaia to randomly generate a meadow landscape. I combined the three scenes together and added portals connecting them.
In class we learned about cloud computing and the benefits of using it. I made my own cPanel and created a domain. I also learned how to manage files on cPanel. I made an AR that can be seen with a QR code on the domain. I changed the website logo and favicon in the cPanel file manager so the website is more customized.
Today in class, we learned about augmented reality. AR mixes the real world with technology. The 3 mediums of AR are phones, AR glasses, and holographic displays. I learned how to make an AR poster in Scanit and placed 3D objects in Placeit.
Today in emerging technology, we learned about the uses of Ai, AR and VR. I learned how to make prompts for AI art. I also had fun making a painting in VR. I still have to have a meeting with Alisher about the next project.
