Week #11 Participation Post Make-up:
1. What is your role in the group?
I am the front end designer.
2. Summarize what your group members did last week.
Ryan set up the website and filled in the details on the page. He also created a sample product.
3. What have you added/changed on the e-commerce website today?
We were able to add the products to the page, add stripe payment, and made the website secure.
4. What is still left to do on the website as it related to your responsibilities and your role?
I want to change the colors of the website, maybe polish up the text, and work more on the visuals.

In this class we finished our AI trailers and continued working on our websites. I was able to add music to my trailer, so now it feels upbeat and energetic. I also added that the game is coming soon. For my website I changed the logo and added my new trailer to entice people to play the game. We refined our websites and made them even better.

Today we attempted to make the app work in unity but it did not. Instead we uploaded some images to the oculus website for our project. Overall, I find this class hard to follow and way too fast paced for an introductory course.

In today's class we used an AI image generator to generate images for our VR game trailer. We were able to make them come to life on a website, and give them movement. We then are able to take these videos and add them to our trailer on Canva. Since everything is generated, I don't have to create the content myself except editing the video. I'm curious to see how AI will develop but I feel like I only am gonna use it for inspiration and not the art itself.

(Class Participation make up week 6)
I've learned more about Unity by using the program and getting more familiar with it. I still have a lot to learn, but for now I'm making progress. I would like to learn even more!

1.) Wordpress is a tool that allows you to build websites. Divi has themes for your website that you can use and adapt for your own needs.
2.) I selected the farmer's theme because it had nature as a main element, and it had nice calm colors. I saw potential for my game where you explore the forest, talk to others, and chill with cats.
3.) My target audience is Gen Z-Millennials
4.) The sections are the top which shows the name and play now button, the features, The part that tells you to download the game, the game downloads section, and the contact/connect with us section
5.) For homework I’m gonna finish adding the images

Last week we got Unity, and made our accounts. We saw what was in the store and were able to find models for our own projects. There was an error, but we were able to work on other stuff this week. Today we learned a lot about what resources are out there for Unity. Gaia is pretty cool since you can make your own world with water, land, and trees all for free. I plan to make a social game where you can talk to other players, and interact with cats in the outdoors.

Today I created my own AR platform using cpanel. I made the domain for this website so we could access it easier. I can now upload models onto the website! It took a good amount of steps, but it works now which is nice. My website is hosted on cpanel, which is valuable since you usually have to pay a lot to host a website. I was also able to customize my website by adding my own logo and name.

Today's class was a refresher from last class. This time we focused more on AR, and made our own creations. I made a poster for one of my favorite games and was able to bring it to life with TSI's AR app. The character is popping out of the poster in 3D, which is cool! We also worked with AR that places the object in a room. I can see this being very useful thing for multiple fields to showcase items, advertise, and more.

Today I learned about how AI can create very specific images from prompts. I tested the Pixio app and typed in numerous characters. The results were pretty good! I'm looking forward to seeing how far AI will come in the future, and maybe this can be a tool for artists to reference.
