In this class we continued working on our AI generated trailers, as well as the website for our virtual reality experiences. If I'm being honest, I still don't understand the what I'm doing in these projects, but I'd love to learn more about the programs. I wish I could learn how Unity works so I can make my own creations in the future. And it would be incredibly helpful to learn how to make a portfolio website for future job applications.

Today we used image generators to create content for our trailers, which we then put into another website to animate them, and them we put them into Canvas to string them together. I love generating images and I think it's super fascinating, but I don't really get the point of making this trailer. AI generated images aren't something we're going to be handing in professionally-- sure they can be helpful, but I could honestly make a better sketch in less time than it took me to make this trailer. I would much rather learn something that is more applicable in our field. Or perhaps we could use AI generated images as a starting point to make a design.

โ€ข WordPress is a base website you can use to build your own website off of, and Divi is a folder of themes and layouts you can apply to it.
โ€ข I don't remember the name of the layout I used, but the top of it has three color blocks each with a different shape in it.
โ€ข The target audience for my VR experience is teens and young adults.
โ€ข The sections I put on my website are an about me, about my experience, asset gallery, and player review section.
โ€ข For homework, I'll finish editing the text.

In class we learned how to open and set up worlds in Unity. It was honestly incredibly confusion, and although I needed a lot of guidance, there were some things I was able to figure out myself. And once I understood some of what was happening certain things started to click; like placing things into the world and dragging them around. Overall, I'm still pretty confused, but it'll be interesting to see how my game develops.

Today we learned how to set up our own AR platforms, so that we can upload three dimensional images as we please. I enjoyed this more than using ScanIt, because now when I upload a model it creates a QR code, and I can easily scan it to see the model. The only downside is that it doesn't pop up in the real world. But it's still cool to be able to interact with the model itself.

In today's class, we learned how to create posters in augmented reality. It took a while for me to understand, but it was pretty interesting once I did. The three dimensional capabilities adds a new layer (literally) to my designs, and it's cool that we can make anything a scannable object. I'm excited to see how this can be utilized in the future.

Today I learned more about AI generated images. It's interesting to see just how realistic and/or accurate they can be. But of coures, if you add too many variables, the images get muddled and abstract. I'm excited to see how far I can take this AI, and explore creating art with it's help.
